Anthony Horowitz a famous American who makes action packed books, which entertain all people around. He had been wanting to write books all his life and now, he is a pro!. Anthony Horowitz writes Adventure, Mystery, Thriller, Horror and Fantasy. His books are, the Alex Rider series, the Power Of Five series and much much more.
He was born in April the 5th 1955 in a wealthy Jewish family, and in his early years he lived in as an upper-class lifestyle. Anthony Horowitz now lives in Central London with his wife Jill Green. He credits his family with much of success in writing, as he says they help him with ideas and research.
His very first book was ‘ The Sinister Secret Of Fredrick K Bower which is a humorous adventure for children. He is also the creator of the ITV series Foyle’s War, Midsomer Murders and Collision.
Anthony Horowitz wrote many stand-alone novels in the 1990’s. His book Granny is a comedy thriller about an evil grandmother, and that was his first book in three years.
His most successful series in the new millennium is the Alex Rider series. The series is about a 14 year old teenager named Alex who became a MI6 spy. In 2000 the first book of the series is Storm Breaker then in 2001 it was Point Blank then in 2002 it was Skeleton Key then in 2003 it was Eagle Strike then in 2004 it was Scorpia then in 2005 it was Ark Angel then in 2007 it was Snake Head then in 2009 he wrote Crocodile Tears then the last of the series was Scorpia Rising.
