The Triathlon Event

Auckland has been chosen to host the annual event, the world Triathlon For the next four years. Besides the Olympic games the world Triathlon is the second prestigious event in the entire world.

The starting race will be in April the 6th and 7th next year and San Diego, Hamburg,Kitzbuhel, Yokohama, London, Stockholm and Madrid.

 The date is better timed because of the better weather in the late summer. ITU ( International Triathlon Union's ) secretary general Loreen Barnertt told the Fair fax  media the Auckland event had been run with excellence.

The Triathlon test the contestants true abilities as all-round triathletes. Its rare to find a big inner city where you can get the hills Loreen Barnett said.

The Near To Extinction Of Monkeys

Twenty-five species of monkeys, langurs, lemurs and gorillas are now on the line of extinction and they need global action to protect them from there extinction.

Six of the severely endangered species live in the island known as Madagascar.

Five more from the mainland of Africa, five more in South America and nine species in Asia are listed as most threatened or closest to extinction.

Many people have helped several species of primates no longer listed as endangered.

The report, which counts species and subspecies of primates across the world, said that Madagascar's lemurs are severely threatened by their habitat being destroyed and illegal hunting.

The Madagascar Lemurs are the most endangered mammal species on Earth.
